The small class sizes, strong relationships and mutual respect between teachers and pupils make Colston’s Sixth Form a very special place to study. Our teachers understand the individual needs of each pupil and work hard to enable every pupil to achieve his or her potential.

Our outstanding teaching facilities, IT facilities (inlcuding one-to-one iPads for Sixth Former) and impressive grounds provide an ideal environment in which our pupils can explore and learn.
A distinct feature of the Colston's Sixth Form is our innovative Future Leaders Programme. Developed in partnership with world-class organisations from industry and academia, students are taught key employability skills and are provided with unique opportunities to apply and develop these skills working on extended projects with organisations such as the Google, Rolls-Royce, University of Bristol, UWE and SuperDry. Students receive a targetted programme of support with their university applications and the vast majority gain a place at their chosen university.
Our most able pupils are supported through our High Achievers Programme and our Oxbridge/Competitive Admissions university application programme. Furthermore, we provide a wide range of enrichment activities and our students regularly achieve recognition in national competitions. We support pupils with learning needs through our Learning Support Unit, our strong pastoral system and the individual attention of our teachers.
We believe in enriching the academic experience of our pupils through an exciting programme of trips and visits, including geography expeditions to Iceland, history trips to America and language visits to Spain and France.
