Lower School Admissions

Pupils normally join the school at the start of the Autumn Term, i.e. September, although children may enrol at other times, subject to places being available.

Pupils may join the first class in the Pre-Prep as long as they are four years old by the 1st September of the academic year in which they join.
Following registration, acceptance of a pupil is confirmed after a successful morning's familiarisation in school with their peer group.
Children enter the Junior School following the 7+ examination, or 9+ examinations. These are held in the Easter Term prior to commencement the following September. Entry at other ages into the junior department follows a successful morning's assessment, during which attention is paid to literacy and numerical skills.
Academic scholarships are available at both 7+ and 9+ age groups. Entry into the Upper School follows a successful performance in the 11+ examination which is held every January for the September entry.

To be considered for a place in any year group a completed  registration form needs to be submitted to the Admissions Department. Please note from 1st September 2017 the registration fee will increase to £50.
